[Cambridge, Massachusetts— 25th,Feb,2025 — CellantraTech today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding/Memorandum of Agreement with Moderna, Inc. to explore opportunities aimed at strengthening and expanding mRNA manufacturing capabilities.
Under the memorandum, the parties intend to evaluate potential areas of cooperation related to mRNA manufacturing capacity, technical capabilities, workforce development, and associated production infrastructure, subject to the terms of the agreement and any subsequent definitive agreements.
The initiative reflects CellantraTech’s commitment to supporting the development of advanced biomanufacturing capabilities and helping build a resilient ecosystem for innovative medicines.

CellantraTech expects the collaboration to focus initially on feasibility assessment, technology evaluation, manufacturing readiness, facility development, or workforce training.
Any future manufacturing, technology-transfer, investment, supply, or commercialization activities will be subject to additional agreements, applicable regulatory requirements, and the completion of relevant technical and commercial evaluations.
